Apartment and Office Complex, Munich (Germany)
In 2001, the foundation stone was laid for an apartment and office complex on Tegernseer Landstrasse, on the east side of the Isar River. In 1998 the project was taken over from the previous owner, who had an approved building plan but due to financial trouble had not been able to execute the project.
As an entirely new building design would not have been approved the existing plan was completely overhauled instead, resulting in a combined apartment and office complex with 7,500 square meters of commercial space, 1,500 square meters of residential space and an underground garage. The core element is an office tower with an impressive view of the alpine foothills. All the apartment units were sold. A Kieser fitness center leased the ground-level commercial space; offices and a large day-care facility are on the upper floors.
